1.2 The information on the Moneymadeclear website provides a free resource for consumers, charities and not-for-profit organisations and, subject to Clause 4 below (special conditions applying to the Compare products section), may not be used for commercial purposes of any kind.

1.3 By accessing any part of the Moneymadeclear website you will be deemed to have accepted these terms in full.

1.4 These terms are governed by and interpreted in line with English Law.

2.1 Unless otherwise stated we own the copyright and any other rights in all material on this website. This copyright and other rights do not extend to the GIFs/JPGs, which are publicly available.

2.2 Subject to Clause 4 below (special conditions applying to the Compare products section) extracts may be printed, saved to disk or any other storage medium and downloaded from this website on the following conditions:

2.2.1 It is for your own personal use as a consumer or for your benefit, or for use within a charity or not-for-profit organisation and is not for a commercial purpose of any kind;

2.2.2 No text or related graphics are modified in any way;

2.2.3 Graphics are not used separately from the accompanying text; and

2.2.4 The source of the material is acknowledged in all copies, either by appropriate words or by adding the FSA copyright notice (ie © The Financial Services Authority).

2.3 Charities and not-for-profit organisations may give copies of extracts from the Moneymadeclear website to consumers incidental to advice and other activities.

3.5 While we try to ensure that the Moneymadeclear website is normally available 24 hours a day we will not be liable if, for any reason, the site is unavailable for any period of time.

3.5.1 Access to the Moneymadeclear website may be suspended temporarily or permanently and without notice.

4.1 You can print or save to disk or any other storage medium copies of the comparison tables from the Moneymadeclear website on the following conditions. These apply in addition to, or (where indicated) in place of, the other conditions specified in these Terms and conditions.

4.2 If you intend to publish the comparison tables, to use them in promotions, advertising or product literature or in some other form in the public domain, then you must comply with the following terms:

4.2.2 The date that we last updated the information (as indicated on the Moneymadeclear website) must be stated clearly on all copies, with the website address (www.fsa.gov.uk/tables); for example “Information taken from the Moneymadeclear section of the FSA's website (www.fsa.gov.uk/tables) as at [date]”;

4.2.3 The publication must not imply FSA endorsement of any company or product or of any conclusions drawn from the data;

4.2.4 Any comparison tables must either:

a. be presented complete and with no additions; or

b. if one or more comparison tables is not complete, state that the information is based on a limited selection taken from the tables prepared by the FSA as at a particular date; for example "Selected from a total of [total number of products shown on website or printed table] products as at [date]".

4.2.5 If you include additional data, you must distinguish it from the data provided by the FSA and clearly identify its source; and

4.2.6 If you present our data in non-alphabetical order, you must make clear the basis for the way you have ordered it and must not indicate or imply any FSA endorsement of the ordering.

4.3 Information from the Compare products section of the Moneymadeclear website is freely available for research. However, if you use or quote this material to a client in connection with a financial product or service, then – in addition to complying with the conditions in 4.2 above – you must give the client a print of the appropriate comparison table. This should be:

4.3.1 as filtered and sorted by you;

4.3.2 complete in that it should include all products that remain after filtering, not just any you have shortlisted;

4.3.3 accompanied by the supporting introduction and column explanation pages;

4.3.4 as created using the print function on this website, without amendment.

4.4 You must not use data from the Compare products section of the Moneymadeclear website to provide a data feed to any comparison table or to any website.
